The PSL schedule’s release formally kicks off the countdown to Pakistan’s premier T20 event. Six clubs will compete in thirty-four arduous matches over the course of almost a month to be named PSL 2022 champions.
According to the PSL calendar 2022, the tournament will begin on January 27th, with the first match between the reigning champions, Multan Sultans, against the former champions, Karachi Kings. The match will be held at National Stadium Karachi, one of two venues for the entire PSL 7.
On February 27, the PSL 2022 final will be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. According to the PSL schedule, the tournament’s play-offs will also be held at the same location.

Important Fixtures to Remember
Aside from the PSL 2022 final, the PSL 7 calendar indicates a number of other key matches during the campaign. The PSL allows ecstatic fans to watch their favourite clubs and players compete against formidable competitors on the pitch. Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings are one such rivalry. During the tournament’s group stages, the two arch-rivals will play each other twice. The two will face off once in Karachi and once in Lahore, with the first match taking place on 30 January at National Stadium Karachi and the second match taking place on 18 February at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Four best clubs will advance to the PSL 2022 play-offs after the 30-match group round. All three PSL 7 play-off matches, as well as the final, will be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The play-offs will begin on February 23, according to the PSL 2022 schedule
PSL Schedule: Venues and Timings
The Pakistan Super League will be conducted at two sites in Pakistan this year, according to the Pakistan Super League calendar. The first phase of the competition will be held at National Stadium Karachi, with 15 group stage matches, while the second phase will be staged in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, with a total of 19 matches, including the PSL 2022 play-offs and final.
Due to the continuing pandemic, the event was partially played in Pakistan last year. The second half of the tournament was moved to the UAE. This time around, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has agreed to host the full PSL 7.
