In the second match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) seventh edition 2022 at National Stadium Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and chose to field first against Quetta Gladiators.

Shahid Afridi tested positive for Covid and will miss the Quetta Gladiators’ first four matches. The biggest setback comes for Peshawar Zalmi, whose captain Wahab Riaz has tested positive, along with Haider Ali, and the two have been segregated.
