Sindh Boards Might Not be Able to Conduct Matric and Intermediate Exams

A letter from the chairpersons of the Sindh education board states that matric and intermediate examinations will be difficult to complete this year because of a lack of funds.

The government had to grant the Boards more than Rs. 3 billion to Sindh, which was not granted, in accordance with the letter, and employees’ salaries were consequently in arrears.

This year, unless the grant is immediately granted, it will be a difficult task to carry out examinations.

The Chief Executive Officer of Sukkur lamented that if the provincial government does not issue this subsidy, the boards “shall conduct examinations by begging.”

The chairman of the Board of Hyderabad also said that because of non-payment the teachers support the work.

The Board of Directors claims several times that it has reached the Government, but the Government has not yet addressed its complaints.
